For the ‘category’ search: We have divided news items into one (or sometimes more) of three categories.
1. State.  If the news refers to a single state only, this category applies
2. Offshore. If the news relates to the entire offshore sector, for instance BOEM announcing a new leasing round, it is filed under this category
3. Policy.  Where the item doesn’t relate directly to either a state or to the offshore sector (for instance tariffs on wind components or a FERC decision) it is filed under policy

The equipment order is an important milestone for NOV’s Marine and Construction business unit as NOV-BLM will supply the rack and pinion jacking systems and the load transfer system while NOV Heavy Lift will deliver the GustoMSC designed heavy lift crane. This order enables Marine and Construction to support Maersk in streamlining its offshore operations.

The jacking units, load transfer system, and crane will be provided by NOV, and the design work has been supported by class society ABS. Delivery of the vessel into US waters is expected in 2025.
